Fast, comfortable, spacious and safe

A truly fresh approach for today’s sailor, the sophisticated Catalina 445 incorporates crisp contemporary styling with proportions and features that make all Catalinas comfortable and secure underway and on the hook. Based on a new hull design with a long waterline and moderate beam and freeboard, the 445 delivers excellent performance in a wide range of conditions. Finished with a traditional diamond-patterned non-skid, the deck is strikingly handsome with a low profile cabin structure, twin helm stations and a roomy cockpit bounded by tall, comfortable coamings.
Below decks, the owner's cabin with its private head and separate shower is forward for privacy and optimum ventilation. The guest cabin is aft with a large, comfortable double berth angled for easy access and greater headroom. An innovative flex-cabin on the port side can be easily converted to whatever your cruising style dictates at the time - sleeping quarters, storage, or a work room with a bench. The spacious galley has the storage and features needed for extended cruising.

Catalina 445 features include:

• One-piece structural sub-sole grid hand-laminated in a separate mold and bonded to the hull for long-term durability, strength and stiffness without excess weight
• Systems engineered for accessibility and reliability following applicable recommendations of ABYC and IMCI
• Cast lead fin or wing keel
• Interior cabinetry constructed of teak and teak veneers hand-finished with durable clear varnishes
• Twin helms with cushioned wrap-around seats for comfortable driving and a good line of site
• Watertight bulkhead provides security; large anchor locker divided to accommodate 2 anchors and rodes
• Forward facing chart table designed to accommodate a PC with drawers below for ship’s papers
• Standard electric macerating heads use little water to allow longer intervals between pumpouts
• Cockpit table seats 4 to 6
• Master berth elevates for viewing television or reading in comfort
• Combo washer/dryer option vents the dryer through the deck for maximum efficiency
• Galley offers multiple storage options plus vinyl-coated racks in the pantry and lockers designed for canned goods and cookware
• Dining table folds to cocktail size, opens for dining, and lowers to form an extra double berth
